Allison Brooks Janney, an American actress, was born in the year 1959. For the past 30 years her performance has received applauds on screen and stage. Janney has won many accolades. They include the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as other awards. The actress also won the seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Also, there were nominations in the two Tony Awards. Janney is originally from Boston and was raised close to Dayton in Ohio. The award was for a pursue a degree at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Janney was first seen on television in 1999 as C. J. Cregg who played the character in NBC's drama series The West Wing (1999 to 2006.) and won Four Primetime Emmy Awards. Her role on"Masters of Sex," a Showtime drama Masters of Sex, Margaret Scully, Janney won the Primetime Emmy Award 2014 for Outstanding Guest Actress in the Drama Series. Janney was nominated several times in the Primetime Emmy Awards and twice won Outstanding Supporting Actress Comedy Series.
