Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk who was a well-known actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her existence, such as attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. Following their engagement in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. They were married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's conversion to Judaism. Silk had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) as one of their most favored television couples.
